One of my favourite piece of clothing this Spring, Summer and into early Autumn has been my bomber jacket which I bought from Zara. The bomber jacket is the perfect transitional jacket from winter to spring and a versatile piece to own as it goes with anything – from a casual look with a t-shirt to smart-casual with a plain or printed shirt underneath. This season there has been a variety of bomber jackets on the scene – beautiful embroidered statement jackets at Gucci or athletic varsity styles to every colour imaginable bomber jackets in nylon.
Whilst in the beautiful Spanish island of Menorca, I opted for a printed white shirt paired with slim beige chinos and a pair of white plimsolls, completing the look with a cream coloured bomber jacket ideal for a casual day out on this windy island.
The flight jacket is the classic bomber jacket style and forms the basis of various other varieties of bomber jackets. By layering a flight jacket over a printed shirt it creates an overall smart-casual look that can be worn from day to night.
What I wore:
Jacket: Zara Bomber jacket
Top: Zara white with blue print shirt
Bottoms: Asos, skinny Chinos in beige
Shoes: Asos White plimsolls
Glasses: Tommy Hilfiger prescription glasses and Rayban perscription sunglasses.
